8th Grade Looks to the Future!
Sacred Heart Catholic School eighth grade students attended the 5th Annual Career Choice ImagineConnectExpore SOVA Youth Expo held at the Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex in Chatham, Virginia.
The event gave students the opportunity to learn about career opportunities in Southern Virginia. The program provided information regarding career pathways, essential skills for various jobs, an explanation of benefits, and the top regional employers in the local area.
Students talked with people who work in exciting careers, took part in activities to see what employees do in their work, and found out education and training necessary to prepare for the career.
